Signs & Banners by Whitewater Print Co.

Scale that stops people in their tracks.

When standard signage isn't enough, we build what turns heads. From full building wraps that cover entire facades to precision-engineered dimensional letters and monument signs built for decades of outdoor exposure, our signage solutions command attention at any scale.

The Challenge

Standard signage has become nearly invisible in dense commercial environments. Retail storefronts blur together. Corporate campuses need identity across distance. Stadiums need graphics readable from hundreds of feet away. The old playbook doesn't cut through anymore. Large-scale signage involves engineering and permitting complexity most vendors can't handle. Building wraps need wind load calculations and anchor points. Dimensional letters require precise facade attachment. Monument signs must survive years of weather without fading or failing.

Poorly executed large-format signage fails both aesthetically and structurally, creating liability. It requires experienced project management and skilled installation crews.

Our Approach

We bring production and installation expertise to every large-scale signage project. We assess every site before design, understanding viewing angles, sight lines, lighting, and structural constraints. We produce supergraphics and building wraps using commercial mesh and vinyl engineered for wind load and UV resistance. Dimensional letters and monument signs are fabricated in materials matched to the installation environment: aluminum and HDU for coastal climates, powder-coated steel for industrial use, illuminated channel letters for high-visibility applications.

Our installation crews handle every phase safely and to code, coordinating lift equipment and structural engineers when needed. Every project is documented with before/after photos and installed to a written standard.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the largest sign or supergraphic you can produce?

There is effectively no practical upper limit on supergraphic size — we've executed building wraps covering tens of thousands of square feet. Large installations are produced in panels that are precisely aligned during installation. Our wide-format printers can output at widths up to 16 feet per panel, and panels can be seamlessly joined to cover any surface area.

Do you handle permitting for signs and supergraphics?

We assist with the permitting process and can prepare the documentation packages that local authorities typically require (design renderings, material specifications, structural details). Final permitting responsibility generally rests with the property owner or general contractor, but we work closely with your team and local authorities to streamline approvals. Permitting requirements vary significantly by municipality and project type.

What materials do you use for outdoor signs?

Material selection depends on the application and environment. Building wraps use commercial mesh vinyl engineered for wind permeability and UV resistance. Dimensional letters are typically fabricated in aluminum or painted HDU foam for lighter-weight applications. Monument signs use powder-coated steel or aluminum frames with acrylic or HDU faces. All outdoor materials are specified for the local climate and expected service life.

How long do building wraps last outdoors?

Commercial-grade outdoor building wraps using mesh vinyl are rated for 5–7 years of outdoor exposure. Actual longevity depends on local UV exposure, wind conditions, and whether the wrap is on a south-facing or shaded facade. Installations in high-UV climates like the Southwest may show some fading at the 4–5 year mark; installations in northern climates often look excellent at 7+ years.

Can you add illumination to signs?

Yes. We produce illuminated channel letters, backlit fabric lightboxes, and LED-illuminated monument signs. Illumination dramatically increases visibility for evening and nighttime installations and is standard for retail, hospitality, and entertainment venue applications. Electrical work for sign illumination is coordinated with a licensed electrician, which we can either provide or coordinate with your existing contractor.

How do you safely install signs and graphics at height?

Safety is the first engineering consideration for any elevated installation. We use a combination of scissor lifts, boom lifts, scaffolding, and rope access technicians depending on the installation height, building access points, and site conditions. All elevated work is performed by experienced installers following OSHA-compliant safety protocols, and we carry full liability insurance for elevated work.
